Teepee Set Up

How much space is required?

  • Each teepee requires a set up space of 110cm wide x 190cm long.

  • A further 40cm in length is needed for the tray to stand on the floor at the end of the bed. Or if space is limited they can be placed on the bed. The teepees can sit a little narrower if needed.

Who sets up the teepees?

We will take away the stress of organising things for you and will set up the teepees so you are all set to go. The time taken for set up varies, depending on the number of teepees, but will take approx 1-2 hours to do. Please make sure there is plenty of room for the teepees. We will also collect the teepees approximately 22 hours after.

How many nights do I have the teepees for?

Standard teepee hire is one night but additional nights hire are available for an additional fee.

Is there a set time for delivery and collection?

We do our best to be flexible with a drop off time so please negotiate this with our team upon booking. Please consider collection is usually approximately 22 hours after drop off time.

Do I need to provide electric for the set up and use of the sleepover packages?

No electric is required, our lanterns and LED lights are battery operated

Can the teepees be set up outside during the day?

  • No, unfortunately our teepees cannot be used outside because of the risk of windy or wet weather. However we can provide a day hire for indoors, please call for more information.

Bookings

What is required to secure my booking?

The easiest way is to send us an email at dorsetpopupparties@outlook.com or message us on our Facebook page and let us know your requirements.  We will aim to get back to you the same day to confirm our availability. If you want to talk through your options over the phone please feel free to call us.  All booking will be followed up with a confirmation email. A holding deposit of £30 is required for securing your booking.

Why do I have to pay a security deposit?

The security deposit is taken to protect the company from damaged and lost equipment. Once all equipment has been returned and fully checked for damage you will receive a full refund of your deposit within 5 working days.  Costs for the replacement of any damaged or missing items will be deductible from this deposit.

When is the balance of payment due?

You will be required to pay the balance 14 days before your party. If you want to hire the teepees within the next 2 weeks call or message us and we will try our best to fulfil your request subject to availability. In this instance full payment would be required on ordering, as well as the additional £50 security deposit.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept bank transfer or Cash.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the event date we, Dorset Pop-Up Parties, will be unable to return any monies.

However, we will be happy to postpone your booking for another date if available and if we manage to re-book out the teepees for your cancelled date we will take a discretionary decision to refund you (minus the deposit).
